INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST

Job Duties and Description:

Follow the President’s direction to process all information systems policies and documentation including backup strategies, user training materials, network maps, and security policies. Coordinate with staff remotely or in-person and safely regarding needs for data, computers, and communications, user requirements, and processing schedules. Confer with staff remotely or in-person and safely to obtain information on limitations and capabilities of existing system and capabilities required for data processing projects and projected workload. Evaluate factors such as number of users serviced by data processing equipment, reporting formats required, volume of transactions, time requirements and cost constraints, and need for security and access restrictions to determine hardware configurations. Analyze information to determine and plan layout for type of computers and peripheral equipment, or modifications to existing equipment and system that can provide capability for proposed workload, efficient operation and effective use of allotted space. Create reports, dashboard, programs, best practical methods and best management practices. Perform data analysis, using Tableau, and create add-on applications to perform features on top of Microsoft Dynamics SAP SAP Business Objects ERP system. Support multiple software and hardware systems throughout the organization. Install, document, and test software and hardware upgrades. Participate in planning and design appropriate technologies to meet the evolving needs of the organization’s business during the pandemic and the post-pandemic world. Maintain and manage database management software and administration using Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server Y, MySQL database user interface and query software and Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Visual Studio development environment software. Maintain network systems and give application support to support all users. Perform system backups and plan emergency data recovery methods. Configure network and email clients with antivirus protection. Monitor system performance and implement adjustment when needed. Resolve network diagnostic issues and conduct performance review. Train users to use new or modified equipment. Evaluate need for and arrange off-site facilities for data archiving, storage, and access. Perform database programming duties, using C#, C++, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, and SSRS programming languages.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree in management information systems, computer and information technology, or the foreign degree equivalent and 6-month information systems working experience in any information systems occupation.

Working Hours:

9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday for 40 hours a week.
